I was never the model student in school. I made terrible grades, was extremely unmotivated, and only excelled in watching cartoons. Upon (somehow) graduating from high school, I made the decision to go to a college without doing much research on loans, debt, or even the school itself. After being thrust into more than 6 figures worth of debt from attending college for only one year, I was prompted to quit school and focus on working to survive.
